About the role:

As a Payroll Accountant at Vianode, you will play a key role in managing payroll and related processes. Working at the intersection of HR and finance, you will collaborate closely with internal departments, project managers, and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing payroll operations in collaboration with HR, accounting, and payroll providers.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations regarding tax, social security, and pensions.
  • Reporting to tax authorities and NAV, as well as managing pension reporting and reimbursement for sick and parental leave.
  • Handling expat payroll and collaborating with tax advisors on related matters.
  • Overseeing time registration, be a super-user of the system and support users
  • Reconciling and posting payroll transactions.
  • Managing travel expenses and reimbursements.
  • Opportunities to develop skills in accounting and HR-related tasks.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a precise and collaborative professional with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a payroll consultant or similar, preferably in large, international companies.
  • Experience with international payroll management.
  • Experience with shift arrangements (including 5- and 6-shift schedules).
  • Higher education in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of relevant payroll systems, such as Visma Enterprise and Tidsbanken.
  • Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
